kite

Through the gate, behind the garage, where Dad keeps his tools, was the most beautiful kite we've ever seen.

storyboards

These are quick story boards to pitch an idea for a haunted house for a very elaborate halloween party. I had to crank out 25 of these in one week with all my art center homework.

The top two are one hour gouache studies don on the bank of the Willammette river in Eugene Oregon, and the bottom one is a marker study from garfield park.

ink w/o photoshop

For the sake in keeping up with my goal of posting daily until school starts, heres one of the ink drawings I did that one day I said I did ink drawings.  The pink is watercolor. To me this round was more about experimenting with the painterly effects of the medium than anything else.

ink drawings

Today I sat in front of the computer with some ink and some pens and brushes.  I searched google for scantily clad women and went straight in with the ink.  I have to admit I'm cleaning them up a bit in PS as well as coloring.

Another faux comic from work

This is going to be a poster for an "According to Jim" set.  The good and bad thing about designing props is that you only get a couple hours to crank stuff out.

Today a BBQ at Garfield park

We had a nice little BBQ at the park today there were fine italian sausages and oatmeal cookies that were addictive like crack.  The top image is a gouache thumbnail sketch I did at Garfield park(3"x1.5"  its freakin' huge when you click on it).  The bottom is the fountain at the Starbucks I stopped at on the way to the park ( they were playing that Tears for Fears song).  Oh yeah and the drawing of Steve from the pub last night.  I'm glad I'm posting consistently for the time being.
